School type and choice

As a teacher I would want to teach in a public school, or art charter school that focuses on its students.

I attended a religious private school, which was such a great opportunity in my life and I wouldn’t want to change that if I could go back in the past but besides that I would have liked to gain more knowledge on an art charter school.

Families with middle and low income that want their children to attend private, and religious schools are in favor of school vouchers which give their children special opportunities to achieve academically.

Other families who just want to send their children to public schools are against school vouchers because less money goes into public schools.

I think school vouchers should be kept legal because they give good opportunities to the kids, and help them exceed expectations. I can see the sides of both parties but I agree with school vouchers.

Art work ex.

these are some art pieces from my senior year of high school. I don’t have any recent examples of my art but I will be posting more later along in the year as I do more art classes.

“Within the garden”

This art piece is a gouache illustration. Gouache is a type of paint that is a water medium paint that has the consistency of acrylic and watercolor. when it comes to gouache paint you can layer the colors easily after they dry very smoothly, that the art can look very digitalized in some ways.

“Gaze of the nursery”

This art piece was made using just a piece white charcoal. when it comes to drawing with white charcoal its important to remember not to outline and to highlight. A technique I used while making this was using a dry paintbrush to blend without smudging my image.

“Onism”

This was a charcoal portrait of a friend of mine. I used both white and a medium, and a hard charcoal. This drawing was based on a photograph I took. I messed up on the angle of her nose but drawing is a learning process so in the future when I am drawing more portraits ill keep face anatomy in mind.

“The Ebby”

I enjoy making digital art as well. I made this on ibis consisting of different layers. This illustration was a gift for my little sister. I used a photo reference for this image. I do have a drawing tablet that I’m able to connect to my computer but I have more experience drawing on my phone which is what I did for this. Pros of digital art are you’re able to press redo if you mess up and you’re able to zoom in to add in little details along with adding layers on top of other layers.

This Poster was a collab I made with Brynn Hansen. Throughout the poster we showed how you can thrive through challenges using a growth mindset. we also used flowers as representation for the growth mindset.
